We have a lot of new music in the works right now.  In June, Bagheera started work on a new album with all the core tracks recorded at Bird Cloud Recording. The songs are snappy and dynamic, with a lot of 90 degree turns and jumps into different time signatures.  The band are deep in production mode adding extra layers of fuzz and analog synths to reinforce some of the tonal shifts.  As usual they will probably take their sweet time so be patient. 

Space is A Black Cat are perpetually making new soundscape recordings and like Bagheera, taking their time with the finer details.  Their debut single 'Finally Sleeping' and its b-side will be dropping soon for streaming and download.  Not sure how all of their releases are going to be packaged but we'll find out together. :)  There's a lot of music there is just a matter of getting it all finalized.

Quarantined. We're all going through this together.  We're busy watching old Japanese monster movies, gardening, and working on some new music. Hey all!

It's been pretty low-key over here at Skeleton Fur.  That's generally how we have always been. We have interests in gardening and astronomy which always seem to take priority over blogging and updates.  Never fear though, we've also been knee-deep in new music and videos.   Bagheera is working on new material and we have a couple of other projects that are slowly getting ready to debut.  They also released a new music video for the song "Lunar Elegy for the Motherboard".  Heather's nephew Rio filmed and edited it.
